In December 2018, I set out to record soundscapes of springs, waterfalls and reservoirs of Kithira. This is Milopotamos waterfall and streams.

pro tip: play recording(s) simultaneously and adjust each volume level for a slightly different experience. Also, try right-clicking and selecting loop.

Milopotamos has a waterfall named Fonissa (meaning murderess) or Neraida (meaning fairy). The waterflow was intense and the sound was approximating a white noise as expected. The stream itself was recorded as well.

Milopotamos Waterfall. Originally 96KHz/24bit stereo. Fostex FR2, Pearl MS 8CL.
Milopotamos stream. Originally, 96KHz/24bit mono. Fostex FR2, Sennheiser MKH70.
